How can I place an order?
You can browse our website to place an order or alternatively you can visit our Etsy store at www.cocomeraki.etsy.com. We accept all major credit and debit cards, Apple pay and Paypal.
How long is Delivery?
All our orders are sent using Royal Mails Signed for & Tracked Services so we can ensure that your orders get to you safely and on time. 2nd Class is £3.95, 1st Class is £4.95 and Tracked 24 is £5.95. Orders over £50 are FREE.
We do not currently offer a local Click & Collect service.
When will I receive my order?
Some orders are made by hand and so are usually shipped within 5 working days. This will be longer during busy periods such as Valentines, Easter and Christmas and we will try to keep our website updated with any delays. If you have a large order then please email us with your requirements at hello@cocomeraki.com. And if you need your order quickly then please select the Tracked 24 option at the checkout.
Where does your chocolate come from?
We only use Callebaut Belgian chocolate in our product range as it is among the very best and used by chocolatiers worldwide. Callebaut pride themselves on their ethical approach by collaborating directly with farmers and only buying 100% sustainable and certified cacao.
How long do products last?
The best before date on our products varies depending on fillings used and will always be clearly marked on the packaging. Our solid bars and lollies will last up to 12 months if stored in a cool, dry place and out of direct sunlight.
Our bonbons and truffles sometimes have cream based fillings and so we recommend these are consumed within 4 weeks to ensure they are at their freshest. Despite popular belief chocolate should NOT be stored in the fridge as this will create humidity and cause the chocolate to bloom. They will still be completely safe to eat but it will affect how they appear.
Are your chocolates vegan and gluten free?
We use Callebaut's certified Vegan Belgian Dark chocolates and have a wide range of products suitable for vegans. Although not all of our dark chocolate products are vegan due to the additional fillings and toppings. All Callebaut chocolate is gluten free however, some toppings and fillings used may not be. Please be sure to check the ingredients and allergy information within the listing or email us if you wanted something specific, we will be more than happy to help.
NB: all products are produced in an environment which handles milk, soy, gluten, wheat, eggs and nuts and therefore there is always a potential for cross contamination.
How are you affected by COVID-19?
We would like to reassure all our customers that we take all necessary hygiene precautions in our kitchen. We are registered with the local authority as a commercial food supplier and are fully insured.
All surfaces are disinfected before, during and after production and all appropriate PPE is worn (gloves, aprons, hairnets). If we become ill or show any symptoms then production stops immediately and any unfulfilled orders would be refunded. Food is never handled with bare hands and gloves are also worn when packaging orders.
We only post twice weekly at present on Tuesdays and Fridays to limit unnecessary travel and reduce the risk to ourselves and others.
Should you have any questions relating to us or any of our products then please do not hesitate to get in touch by email at hello@cocomeraki.com.
